Posters for the Encounters international film festival

On September I had a paid work to design nine posters for selected short films. I was allowed to use only the screenshots from the actual films, which I've picked myself. All works had to represent the idea and the place.

Here's my outcome, based on interview with retired local engineer

Student protest in London 10-11-10

I have never seen such a big protest in my whole life. Around 50 000 student gathered from all over the country to show what they think about the new government plans to raise tuition fees up to 9000£ and cut the Education Maintenance Allowance for poorer students; the cuts to funding for students with additional support needs; and education in prisons. Protest attracted all kinds of protesters, from peace keepers to socialists. Despite of few accidents, demonstration got the attention of the government.
